Love of God and Neighbor
This session on moral living explores the Great Commandment “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’” (Matthew 22:37-40) The session introduces the Ten Commandments and then focuses on the first three: loving God with all our heart, soul, and mind. It engages everyone in discovering anew how to love God by living the first three commandments in our lives, our homes, and our world.

Being Good Stewards
This session on living a moral life explores the Seventh Commandment, “You shall not steal,” and the Tenth Commandment, “You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods,” and their implications for our lives as Christians. To keep these commandments, we need to practice moderation in our possessions, justice in our treatment of others, respect for their human dignity, and solidarity with all peoples. This session explores the positive virtues of these commandments through the lens of stewardship. It engages participants in discovering how to be good stewards of their time, talent, and treasure, and how to be good stewards of God’s creation and the material goods of the world.

Honesty and Integrity
(Catholic Edition)
This session on living the moral life explores the Eighth Commandment: “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” and its implications for our lives as Catholics. The Eighth Commandment calls us to be honest and genuine with all people in every act, deed, and dealing. Being honest means being sincere, open, trustworthy, and truthful. It means telling the truth no matter how difficult it may be to do so. This session explores the many dimensions of living the Eighth Commandment—in our life, in our family, in our relationships with others, and in our dealings at work or school and with the institutions of society.
